Appliance, Toilet and Tub Leak Water Damage

Small leaks do big damage when they run behind a washer, under a dishwasher or through a bathroom floor. We find where the water went and dry it out before it spreads.

Where these leaks hide

The damage is usually bigger than the puddle you can see.

  • Washing machine hoses and drain lines that fail or pop off
  • Dishwasher and refrigerator ice maker lines under cabinets
  • Toilet supply lines, wax rings and tank cracks that leak into the subfloor
  • Tub and shower overflows or failed seals that soak the ceiling below
  • Stained ceilings, soft floors or a musty smell near a bathroom or laundry room

How we handle it

  1. Stop the water

Shut off the supply valve to the fixture or the main if you cannot find it.

  2. Find the spread

Moisture meters show how far water traveled under flooring, behind cabinets and into the ceiling below.

  3. Dry it properly

We remove wet materials that cannot be saved and run air movers and dehumidifiers until readings are normal.

  4. Rebuild with you

We help plan flooring, drywall and cabinet repairs and keep you updated.

Insurance and estimates

Sudden appliance and fixture leaks are often covered, and slow leaks often are not. Policies differ. We document the damage and provide a detailed, itemized estimate.

What our customers say

Have any questions?

The leak was small. Do I still need professional drying?

If water got under flooring or into a wall, yes. Surface drying leaves moisture trapped below, and that is where mold and warping come from.

A leak came through the ceiling below a bathroom. What now?

Shut off the water to the fixture above and call us. The ceiling, insulation and the floor above may all be wet.

Do you repair the appliance or fixture?

A plumber or appliance technician fixes the cause. We handle the water damage and coordinate the order of work.
